Monster's Ball star arranged to spend time withfellow Oscar winner Poitier earlier this month as part of aphoto shoot and interview and she thought it would be nice forher young daughter to meet the man who had meant so much toher growing up.
But when photographers learned about the secretmeeting and showed up outside Poitier's Beverly Hills home,they terrified the toddler and she had to be led away in tearsby a nanny, The Hollywood Reporter said.
"Sidney is part of our history. He's a legend, and oneday I knew she (Nahla) would thank me for allowing her to bein his presence.
"I was supposed to come over for Thanksgiving thisyear... I have to bring my daughter back. She has to have thisexperience," said Berry.
