Whether Chiranjeevi will play a role in the Rosaiah government in the event of Jagan exiting the Congress is not the only speculation surrounding the megastar. Chiranjeevi has now dropped hints that he could change his earlier decision not to act any more to make a comeback to do his 150th film.

In August 2008, Chiranjeevi bid goodbye to the glitz and glamour of films after 30 years in the industry.

"I don't think I will do any more films. It is very painful because I love that profession. I have been dreaming about it since my childhood and I achieved it. Suddenly leaving my previous profession is a difficult decision,'' he said in 2008.

But now after two years of launching his political party, Praja Rajyam, Chiranjeevi wants to act once again. And he made his secret desire public, while sharing the dais with actor Rajinikanth, who was in Hyderabad to promote his film Robot.

"Earlier, when my fans forced me to return to films, I had said no. But after seeing Robot's trailer, I may not say no to my fan's request. Let us see," the megastar said.

Sources in the Chiranjeevi camp reveal this was not an off the cuff remark. The actor is indeed reading scripts to finalise a role that will befit his stature, both in the film and political arena.

Chiranjeevi's son and actor Ramcharan Teja, spoke about his father's plans,"I cannot say when exactly but before next year's birthday, a film will be released.''

If Chiranjeevi indeed returns to films, he would only be emulating the late N T Rama Rao, who too donned the greasepaint after turning a politician.
