Sixty-seven-year-old Bruce Willis' health issue was first disclosed in March 2022.

Giving a health update on Hollywood star Bruce Willis, who suffers from a psychological condition called aphasia, his friend Sylvester Stallone said that the actor is going through a tough time.  

"Bruce is going through some really, really difficult times. So he's been sort of incommunicado," Stallone said in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter published this week. The Rocky actor added that not speaking to Willis "kills me" and "it's so sad." 

Aphasia is a condition which affects language cognition. TheNational Health Service (NHS) of the UK defines aphasia as a psychological condition in which a person has trouble speaking and understanding. The condition implies that the actor could one day lose the ability to understand or express speech. 

Sixty-seven-year-old Bruce Willis' health issue was first disclosed in March 2022. His family had then announced that the legendary actor would step away from his career after being diagnosed with aphasia and will no longer be in the spotlight.

At the time, his family statement read: "To Bruce's amazing supporters, as a family, we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities. As a result of this and with much consideration, Bruce is stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him."

Mr Stallone, a long-time pal of Bruce Willis was one of the first friends to speak publicly back in March when his diagnosis was revealed to fans. The actor had shared an old picture of the actor, along with a heartfelt caption on Instagram.
