Happy birthday, Kirron Kher! The veteran actress received a plethora of heartwarming wishes and messages on the occasion across social media platforms on Monday. Fans as well as co-stars of the actress shared notes and lovely throwback photos celebrating her. And one of the sweetest messages came from her husband, actor Anupam Kher who shared a series of images of the couple along with noted celebrities and public figures from around the world. Actors Robert De Niro, Bradley Cooper and religious figure The Dalai Lama feature in the special post. There is also a photo of Kirron Kher delivering a speech in the Lok Sabha.
Along with the photos, Anupam Kher wrote a note on how Kirron was loved by people across the world. "Happy birthday dearest Kirron!! May God give you a long and healthy life. May the Almighty grant you all the happiness in the world! People all over the world love you for the person you are! You are honest, fair, sincere and forthright! You deal with every situation in life with amazing inner strength and grace! Stay healthy and safe! Love and prayers always!" he wrote.
Several fans and followers of the actress left heart emojis in the comment section in addition to conveying their wishes. Singer Hariharan, too, dropped a comment and said, “Many happy returns of the day Kirron Ji!” Actor Tiger Shroff wrote, "Happy birthday Kirron ma'am."
Actor Anil Kapoor also shared a lovely throwback photo of the actress with him. In it, the two can be seen dancing on stage. Actress Kirron Kher is currently undergoing treatment for multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer. The news was shared in early April by Anupam as well as their son, actor Sikander Kher on social media.
Kirron Kher made her debut with the Punjabi film Aasra Pyar Da in 1983. She is best known for her roles in films such as Rang De Basanti, Main Hoon Na, Devdas, Om Shanti Om, among others.
