Though she was left "embarrassed" by the end of her previous relationship, Hathaway insists it never put her off the idea of finding love again. "Goodness, it was a bad relationship. It was an embarrassing break-up, but what I went through is not that big a deal compared to what many people go through.
"I think the thing that I have learnt is that a bad love experience is no reason to fear a new love experience. Everybody has bad relationships and, at the end of the day, they are just a great way to set yourself up for a good relationship,"
