New Delhi: World's tallest building - the Burj Khalifa - will look very different tonight. It doesn't require much effort for megastar Rajinikanth to trend but Thalaivar being Thalaivar always has something special to delight his fans with. Rajinikanth and his 2.0 co-stars Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson are in Dubai for the promotional duties of their much awaited sci-fi thriller. Rajinikanth will not settle for anything but the best and hence, Team 2.0 has zeroed in Burj Khalifa as the venue for tonight's event. While the plush Burj Gardens is prepping for the big night, the building will be lit up with Rajinikanth's photo, reported mid-day.

Meanwhile, this is how 2.0 is keeping us updated on Twitter.

And oh, guess who has turned up in Dubai to host the grand music launch event? Rana Daggubati announced his arrival in Dubai like this: "In dubai to host the biggest Audio launch in Indian motion picture history!"

Ahead of the mega music launch, Team 2.0 is dropping posters which look like this. Beware, this might just set your screen on fire!

Promotions for Rajinikanth's new movie kick-started earlier this year with 2.0 special 100-foot-tall hot air balloons flying over the Hollywood sign in Los Angeles.

This is the first time Akshay will share the frame with the 66-year-old megastar. In 2.0 Akshay plays the antagonist - Dr Richards - who turns into a birdman like creature after an unsuccessful experiment. Dr Richards will be pitched against scientist Vaseegaran and also his creation Chitti, both characters played by Rajinikanth.

"I've never done a role like this in my entire career. And, I've never seen anyone doing a character like this. It was a whole new experience to play the role of an anti-hero," Akshay told news agency PTI, while Rajinikanth assured: "It will appeal to both the global and Indian audiences." The 2.0 cast also includes actors like Sudhanshu Pandey and Adil Hussain.

Directed by Shankar, 2.0 is scheduled for the Republic Day weekend next year.
