The board has also released the results for Class 5 and Class 8 examinations. The RBSE Class 8 exams for 2026 were held from February 19 to March 4, while the Class 5 exams were conducted from February 20 to March 5. Over 26 lakh students appeared for these examinations, which were conducted in a single shift.
Students can check their results on the official RBSE websites - rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in and rajshaladarpan.nic.in.
Madan Dilawar, Minister for School Education of Rajasthan, announced the results from the board office in Ajmer, congratulating all the successful students and wishing them a bright future.
A key highlight this year was that the results for Classes 8 and 5 were released simultaneously along with the Class 10 results. Notably, for the first time, the Class 10 results have been declared before the Class 12 results and within the month of March, allowing students more time to prepare for the new academic session.
The result data once again reflects the strong performance of girls. According to the education department, this trend is a result of growing educational awareness in the state and the consistent efforts of female students.
The board has released the results in record time this year to ensure that students have sufficient time to prepare for the new academic session beginning April 1.
From 2027 onwards, the Class 10 board examinations will be conducted twice a year, first in February and then in May. Under the "best of two attempts" system, the higher score obtained by students will be considered for the final result, giving them a better opportunity to improve their performance while reducing exam-related stress.
