The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) will close the registrations for filling applications for the Post Graduate Scholarship today. The scholarship can be availed by students admitted in the Master's degree in any AICTE approved institution. 
The scheme will provide Rs 12,400 per month to eligible students.

An official notification on AICTE website read, "The council has invited online applications from AICTE approved institutions for disbursement of scholarship to the students admitted in AICTE approved institutes/programmes and within approved intake of ME/MTech/MArch/MDes through DBT for the first year students of the academic year 2023-24 having gained qualifying marks with valid GATE/CEED score card."

The last date for creation of student's ID by the institutes and online submission of application by the students is November 30, 2023. The deadline for verification by the institute is December 15, 2023.

After the online registrations, candidates undergoing postgraduate courses having valid GATE/CEED score and admitted in AICTE approved Institutes/programmes and can collect the Unique ID from the institute. These candidates can login at the official website of AICTE for uploading the scanned copies of all original documents in JPG/JPEG format only.

Eligibility
The candidate must have a valid GATE/CEED score at the time of admission. He/she must be admitted as a full-time scholar. Students of final years of dual degree integrated programmes would also be entitled to PG Scholarship from the ninth semester onwards i.e. only for one year in final year. 

AICTE will provide PG scholarship to the additional 10 per cent candidates over and above the approved intake of that course from EWS category, if the university/ institute has admitted students from Economically Weaker Sections (EWSs) as per MHRD.
