CBSE Class 10 Maths Paper Analysis 2022: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the term 2 Class 10 Mathematics paper on Thursday, May 5, 2022. The students who appeared in the CBSE 10th Maths paper reviewed it as easy but a little lengthy. CBSE Term 2 Maths exam was of 40 marks, and held from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Aashika Thakur, a student of Geeta Bal Bharti, said that the Class 10 Maths paper was quite easy but a little lengthy and was along the expected lines and as per the given syllabus.

"Today's Mathematics paper was quite easy, but a little lengthy though. Students with a great knowledge of the syllabus must have completed the paper on given time. A few questions were easy but were really time-consuming to write step-by-step answers. All the questions were as per the syllabus only and were on the expected lines.

According to the teachers and experts, the CBSE 10th Maths paper was easy and the questions were mostly from the syllabus.

"Maths basic is from NCERT and important questions have been include. Standard maths paper is above average paper with new questions and a bit lengthy. Most of the questions are with figures which make the question better and easy to understand and attempt," said Awadhesh Kumar Jha, principal of Sarvodaya Co-ed Vidyalaya.

Himani, TGT Maths, TDI International School, said, "The paper was according to the pattern provided by the board. There were adequate internal choices given in each section which was a great relief for students.3 sets were available. Section A and Section B were easy of maths standard paper. Section C of paper was little moderate. On other hand Basic paper of maths was easy. Overall, the paper can be said a moderate one."

Vashvinder, HOD, MRG School Rohini, said, "Mathematics paper was easy for many students, but a little lengthy. Few questions were easy but were really time-consuming to write step-by-step answers. All the questions were as per the syllabus and were on the expected lines of the students. Overall, the paper was lengthy and of moderate difficulty level."

"CBSE Class 10 students appeared today for the Math Exam. As students had two options to choose from Maths Standard (041) and Maths Basic (241). Students who opted for Basic Math found the paper easy and similar to the C.B.S.E sample paper. Both the papers consisted of 14 questions- 6 questions of 2 marks, 4 questions of 3 marks each, and 4 questions of 4 marks each. Two out of these 4 questions were case studies. Students found mean, median and surface area questions a little tricky. But they were able to solve that in the end. Overall the paper was easy and students will be able to attempt it in time," said Dr Mala Kapoor, Principal, Silverline Prestige School, Ghaziabad.

"The students did not face any issues w.r.t time management and they all could complete the paper within the stipulated time. All questions were doable and similar to the sample papers practiced in class. Overall, all students were happy and satisfied with the paper," said Ankita Ahuja Sharma, PGT Mathematics, Shiv Nadar School, Gurugram.

Anjani Kumar Rai, VidyaGyan School, Bulandshahr, said, "The Basic Mathematics section was as per the NCERT pattern and students did not find it tough. All three sections in the paper were easy to moderate on the difficulty level. All questions required conceptual-based understanding. Students could expect good marks."

"For Standard Mathematics, the question paper was designed on a scale of moderate to difficult. Case study based questions were slightly tricky to answer but students with conceptual understanding would have answered them easily," Anjani Kumar Rai added.

The Class 12 CBSE term 2 exam is being held in 6,720 centres across the country. As many as 14,54,370 Class 12 students have registered for the term 2 Class 12 exams.
