Delhi Police Issues Prohibitory Orders On Flying Of Aerial Objects

The decision was taken in the wake of terror alert issued by intelligence agencies.

New Delhi: Delhi Police has issued prohibitory orders for flying of aerial objects, including unmanned aerial vehicles, in view of the security measures in place for festivals and in the wake of terror alert issued by intelligence agencies.

The prohibitory orders issued by Delhi Police under section 144 CrPC will come into force from tomorrow and will be in place till November 11.

"The order prohibits sub-conventional aerial platforms like para-gliders, para-motors, hang gliders, UAVs, UASs, microlight aircrafts, remotely piloted aircraft, hot air balloons, small size powered aircraft, quadcopters and even parajumping from aircraft," said the order.
