Four people, including a woman, were arrested for their alleged involvement in trafficking a16-year-old girl, the police said on Saturday. The accused have been identified as Ravi, Rinki, Rohit and Mukesh.
On July 30, a case of kidnapping of a 16-year-old was registered in outer Delhi's Sultanpuri by her family, Seju P Kuruvilla, Deputy Commissioner of Police (outer Delhi) said.
During investigation, it was learnt that the girl was with a 18-year-old man, identified as Abhishek. On July 21, she contacted her mother and informed that she was Rohini area. Her mother visited the place and brought her to the police station. She was medically examined and her statement was recorded, he said.
In her statement to the police, the girl alleged that she was lured by Abhishek and taken to Haridwar, where he sexually assaulted her. After four days, they returned to Delhi and stayed at Old Delhi railway station platform where they met one Ravi who assured them a job and shelter.
He then took them to his house in Ghaziabad. Next day, Abhishek left with Ravi and never returned. Ravi then came home and informed the teenager the he has arranged a job for Abhishek and that he would return the next day.
The same night, Ravi's wife Rinky left the home, leaving the the girl alone with her husband. Ravi then allegedly sexually assaulted the her. The next morning when the wife returned, she narrated the incident but she ignored and gave her food.
After eating, the teenager became drowsy following which two other men identified reached the Ghaziabad home. They allegedly took her to Rohini where they handed over her to one Ashok Goyal who allegedly confined her in his spa and massage centre with the help of his two associates Rohit and Mukesh. The man allegedly sexually assaulted her and forced her to spend time with his clients, the police officer said.
On the basis of her statement, a police team was formed, following which Abhishek was arrested. He admitted that he took her to Haridwar and sexually assaulted her.
Ravi and Rinky who were arrested from their home in Ghaziabad, admitted that they had "sold" the girl with the help of three other people, the officer said.
Subsequently, a police team reached spa and massage centre in Rohini where the teenager was confined and allegedly raped. Police arrested his two associates of the spa owner.
Police has been trying to trace the other accused, including the spa owner.
