Ludhiana:
A 70-year-old woman, her physically challenged middle-aged son and her daughter, a divorcee, were founded murdered in Ludhiana on Sunday.
Shakuntla Devi and her son Rajesh, 40, were murdered in their house in Durgapuri colony while Nisha, the daughter, was found dead in a field near village Jassowal, some 25-km from Ludhiana.
Rajesh, who was attacked with sharp-edged weapons, was found lying in a pool of blood, police said adding his mother was murdered in an adjacent room.
Nisha, who was a divorcee, was found murdered with her throat slit in a field.
Her father Roshan Lal, a retired railway employee, was missing, police said.
The family had shifted to their house some two months ago.
Police did not rule out involvement of someone close to the family in the commission of the crime.
