Teenage boy scripts story of his own kidnapping for motorcycle

Dehra Dun: A student of class IX scripted a story of his own kidnapping when his father refused to buy him a motorcycle at Jwalapur area of Haridwar.
     
Akshay Arora (14) also took the help of one of his friends Rajkumar, who made an extortion call to his father posing as a kidnapper for giving Rs two lakh to save the life of his son, the police said.
     
Pramod Arora, a shopkeeper, received a phone call on his mobile that Akshay has been abducted and he would have to give Rs two lakh to kidnappers to save his life.
     
Arora soon lodged a report with the police which put the phone number on electronic surveillance. Later, investigations revealed that the phone number belongs to Rajkumar. When the police interrogated him, he told them that Akshay made the plan of taking money from his father for buying a motorcycle as he had refused to do so earlier.
      
The police later registered a case and slapped a fine of Rs 250 on each of the two boys.
