Astrological predictions for the beleaguered Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa are foreboding, but some practitioners are firm the party he leads is fated to escape with bruises.
Globe Astrology consultant, Y Bhaskar Shetty says BSY is in surya dasha now (Sun period). His karmic downswing began on July 8, 2010, when Jupiter positioned as his sub-period at the 8th house. Now, 8th house wrings severe results. The period since July saw him going great 'vyamoh' (ambition) about himself and his kith and friends.
Shetty says Yeddyurappa's slide in power is fated and sure though, it will be a bit slow. He foresees by April 27, 2011, Yeddyurappa's power and position will eclipse and if he survives the political assault with his good karma, penance and prayer.
Niranjan Babu, astrologer and editor of Astro e-mag, too, is firm on the downfall of Yeddyurappa, because the Sun sign that represents the king and kingdom has entered the 12th house, which is inauspicious for him. Venus and Mars are in the same unfavourable house and the moon is debilitated. His position is weak and even if he does penance, he must face his karmic result, which in this instance indicates loss of power.
But astro-consultant, Dr BP Rajsimon sees troubles for three years. Yeddyurappa's lagna is dhanush, rasi is makara, star-uttarshada pada 3. At present, Saturn, the major period and Rahu, the sub-period began on April 7 is in ascendant and it is inauspicious. The major period, lord Saturn is currently transiting on 10th house in the star of moon (hastha). More importantly, the karma bhagya (professional fortune) lord Venus is in retrograde state and is unable to help.
The current planetary position influencing his natal chart, are not very favourable. He will face lot of disputes, obstruction, troubles and dejections. Only after February 11, 2013, things will become favourable for him.
Senior astro-reader, PR Natarajan predicts a happy ending for Yeddyurappa. The chief minister is facing problems because Ketu is set against him, which will sail through the phase in 6-7 months At present, going by his horoscope, he is in Sun period, which decides rule and kingdom.
The party he represents will undergo troubles along with him, but he will have sukra (Venus) dasha in another 6-7 months, which means a smooth sail for him. The upshot in political terms is that even if president's rule is imposed, and by the time it is lifted, Yeddyurappa will have changed his fortune for better and the party he represents will come back to power.
Astrologer AK Nambiar says the lagna and raasi of Yeddyurppa is unfavourable, but he can blunt the intensity through proper vidi (penance) and prayer. He says the BJP's kundli and state government's ascending power indicate that the party will not suffer and continue to rule.
