Mumbai: Wife gets husband killed by lover

Mumbai: 23-year-old homemaker from Mumbai Reena Yadav and her lover Ashok Nisar were arrested by the Vashi police on Saturday in connection with the murder of her husband, Dinesh Yadav.

25-year-old Yadav was killed on Wednesday by Nisar who took the help of three friends, Sitaram Nisar, Gopi Bansi and Kamlesh Gaur.

According to the police, Yadav's wife was involved in a relationship with 28-year-old Nisar for two years and was unhappy in her marriage.

Last month, when Yadav learnt of the affair, he got violent. Reena shared her trauma with Nisar and the two hatched a plot to kill Yadav.

Nisar invited Yadav for a drink with his friends and took him near Marine Center Mall in Vashi.

After binge drinking, Yadav lost his senses, and was attacked with sharp weapons before he was thrown in a nullah nearby.

Yadav's wife then lodged a missing person's complaint with the Vashi police. The police say she changed her statement several times, leading to suspicion.

She eventually revealed the truth during interrogation. All five suspects were arrested by the Vashi police. The weapons have been recovered.

According to a police official, Nisar runs a grocery store near Yadav's home, and that's how he first met Reena.

The murder plan was also hatched at the shop, and she had booked a railway ticket to leave for Uttar Pradesh after the murder. Since Nisar said it would raise doubts, Reena decided to lodge a missing person's complaint, instead.
