Nashik:
A man from village Vasunde in Ahmednagar district committed suicide after throwing his three children, including two daughters, into a well on Thursday, police said.
Sunil Udavant, working in the postal department took his three children, Snehal(6), Sonal(4) and son Bhaiyya (2) out and threw them into a well in his own field before jumping himself into the well, leading to the death of all four of them, police added.
Police managed to fish out their bodies with the help of local villagers on Friday and sent them for post-mortem.
The reason behind the suicide was not known and the police are investigating the case.
