New Delhi:
A 23-year-old girl has alleged that she was physically assaulted by her three male friends at a late night party on Tuesday at her house in Delhi.
The police received a call around 1 am on Wednesday and when they reached the house in J-Block Khirkee Extension, all four were found in an inebriated condition.
"We heard all of them arguing over something but didn't interrupt. Later, we found a PCR van standing outside our building," said the girl's neighbour.
The police took them to the Malviya Nagar police station where the girl alleged that the three boys, all in their early twenties, assaulted her after an altercation over a petty issue.
Two of the boys have been identified as Arun and Kewal, both of whom work for a telecom company.
The cops took the girl for a medico-legal examination and said the report will establish whether her allegations were true or not.
"We are interrogating the accused and have not registered a case as yet," said a police officer.
A friend of the girl, who reached the police station, later said: "I really don't know what went wrong and have never met these guys."
