Ultraviolette has expanded the X-47 lineup in India with the launch of a new entry-level variant of the electric crossover motorcycle. Called simply the Ultraviolette X-47, the new base variant has been priced at Rs 2.49 lakh (ex-showroom), making it the most affordable model in the X-47 range so far.

Ultraviolette X-47: What Has Changed?

The biggest change in the new Ultraviolette X-47 base variant is the removal of the company's Hypersense radar system. This technology was earlier available across all variants of the Ultraviolette X-47.

The Hypersense package included features like blind-spot detection, rear collision warning, lane change assist, and overtake alerts. By removing these features, Ultraviolette has managed to reduce the price of the Ultraviolette X-47 by Rs 15,000 compared to the earlier entry-level Original variant. Apart from this change, the rest of the motorcycle remains identical to the higher trims.
