Tata Motors is set to launch the updated Tata Punch Facelift in India today, January 13. Leading up to its debut, the company teased design highlights, confirmed variant options, and revealed paint schemes. Ahead of launch, the facelifted model had already begun arriving at dealerships, with images showcasing the CNG version on display. This rollout marked the final stage before its market introduction. With the launch now live, the 2026 Tata Punch Facelift enters showrooms as Tata's refreshed compact SUV, bringing updated styling, new features, and expanded choices for buyers.

Tata Punch Facelift: Engine Specs  

The 2026 Tata Punch facelift will get Tata's 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, already seen in other models, alongside the existing 1.2-litre naturally aspirated powermill. This dual-engine strategy provides buyers with a choice between efficiency and enhanced performance. While complete specifications are awaited, the turbo option promises sharper driving dynamics, quicker throttle response, and a more engaging experience, making the compact SUV appealing to those seeking extra power without compromising everyday usability.

Tata Punch Facelift: Design

Styling updates give the Punch facelift a fresher, more premium look while retaining its compact proportions. The front fascia now features revised lighting units, piano black detailing, a redesigned lower grille, and new skid plates, aligning its design language with larger Tata SUVs like the Nexon, Harrier, and Safari. At the rear, redesigned taillamps and a reshaped bumper enhance its stance, lending a sturdier and more robust road presence.

Tata has expanded the Punch facelift's colour palette, adding vibrancy and individuality. Buyers can choose from Cyantafic Blue, Caramel Yellow, Bengal Rouge Red, Daytona Grey, Coorg Clouds Silver, and Pristine White. A dealership unit spotted in Coorg Clouds Silver highlights how the new shades complement the refreshed styling.  

Tata Punch Facelift: Interior and Features

Inside, the cabin has been modernized with a twin-spoke steering wheel featuring an illuminated Tata logo, toggle-style switches, reshaped AC vents, and a 7-inch TFT instrument cluster with sharper graphics. Premium additions include a 360-degree camera, six airbags, and an upgraded infotainment system, ensuring safety and convenience in line with current compact SUV standards.

Tata Punch Facelift: Variants  

The facelift will be offered in six trims: Smart, Pure, Pure+, Adventure, Accomplished, and Accomplished+ S. This expanded lineup caters to varied budgets and preferences, broadening the Punch's appeal and strengthening its position in the competitive sub-4m SUV segment.
