Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles has finally launched the Tata Punch facelift in India, available at a starting price of Rs 5.59 lakh (ex-showroom), with bookings open from today. With the update, the Tata Punch facelift is set to garner an edge over its rivals like the Hyundai Exter, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Mahindra XUV 3XO, and more. Here's what the new Tata Punch has to offer.
Tata Punch Facelift: Exterior Styling
Tata has officially showcased the updated Punch facelift via a teaser shared ahead of launch, revealing the exterior and styling upgrades. While the SUV continues to carry forward its signature boxy stance, the refreshed design brings a sharper, more contemporary appeal.
The styling now aligns closely with the electric version of the Punch- Punch.ev , featuring redesigned LED headlamps, sleeker DRLs, and cornering-function LED fog lamps. Unlike some of Tata's newer models, a full-width LED light bar is absent, but the facelift compensates with a reworked grille, sportier bumpers, fresh alloy designs, and a new LED tail-lamp cluster. Practical enhancements include automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, and a rear washer-wiper, ensuring improved convenience and usability.
With the update, the Tata Punch gains new colour options, namely- Cyantafic, Caramel, Bengal Rouge, and Coorg Clouds.

Tata Punch Facelift: Interior And Features
On the inside, the Tata Punch facelift gets a refreshed interior with a sharper digital instrument cluster, a bigger touchscreen infotainment unit, and redesigned controls that align with the brand's latest interior styling approach. It gets dual tone interior, CentraLuxe control with armrest, a 26.03 cm touchscreen infotainment unit, a 17.8 cm digital cluster, 360-degree surround view, automatic climate control, Auto-dimming IRVM, and more.

In terms of safety, the Tata Punch Facelift retains the 5-star adult and child safety rating. It gets safety features like- 6 airbags as standard, ESP, Hill Decent Control, ISO fix, and more.

Tata Punch Facelift: Engine Specs
The new Punch has been introduced with a new 1.2-liter iTurbo petrol engine, mated with a 6-speed MT gearbox, and churns out 120 PS at 5500 rpm and 170 Nm at 1750-4000 rpm. This powermill is claimed to be the best-in-class with power to weight ratio of 105 ps/ton, 30 % gradablity, and a sprint of 0-100 kmph in just 11.1 seconds.

It also gets a 1.2-litre Revotron engine that works in conjunction with a 5-speed MT and AMT gearbox and torque converter, available as options. It is capable of pushing out a peak power and torque output of 87.8 PS at 6000 rpm and 115 Nm at 3250 rpm. It also gets the factory-fitted CNG powertrain, delivering 73.4 PS at 6000 rpm and 103 Nm at 35000 rpm.
Tata Punch Facelift: Variants And Price
The Tata Punch facelift gets six variants, namely- Smart, Pure, Pure +, Adventure, Accomplished, and Accomplished + S. The prices of the new Tata Punch start from Rs 5.59 lakh (ex-showroom).
