Skoda introduced the Kushaq Facelift to the Indian market in January 2026, with pricing set to be revealed on March 21, 2026. This marks the first significant update for the SUV since its launch in 2021. The Kushaq competes in a crowded segment that includes the newly launched Renault Duster, as well as established models like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Victoris, and others.
Skoda Kushaq Facelift: Design
In terms of exterior design, the facelifted Skoda Kushaq draws substantial inspiration from the larger Skoda Kodiaq. Compared to the previous model, the updated Kushaq features sleeker projector LED headlights paired with eyebrow-shaped daytime running lights, segmented LED elements in the grille, and LED fog lamps. The grille has been redesigned to enhance its contemporary appearance.

On the sides, the SUV is fitted with 17-inch alloy wheels, roof rails capable of carrying a 50 kg load, and rugged black cladding on both the wheel arches and the lower edges of the doors. At the rear, stylish connected LED taillights prominently display illuminated 'Skoda' branding, along with a roof-mounted spoiler and a rear wiper equipped with a washer. The rear bumper, made in black, includes reflectors on either side for improved visibility.

Skoda Kushaq Facelift: Interior
Inside, the Skoda Kushaq facelift maintains a familiar dashboard layout featuring a 2-spoke steering wheel that includes ambient lighting. The updates also comprise a redesigned user interface for the 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, along with a larger 10.25-inch digital display for the driver.

Skoda Kushaq Facelift: Features
The revamped model boasts an expanded list of features, including a panoramic sunroof, a segment-first rear seat massage feature, power-adjustable and ventilated front seats, a wireless phone charging pad, and automatic climate control with rear air vents.
In terms of safety, standard features include six airbags, a rear parking camera, parking sensors at both the front and rear, a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and an auto-dimming inside rearview mirror (IRVM). Notably, it does not offer a 360-degree camera or an ADAS suite, which many competitors in this segment do provide.
Skoda Kushaq Facelift: Engine, Transmission
For the powertrain, the Skoda Kushaq facelift is equipped with a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine that generates 115 hp, along with an optional 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine that produces 150 hp. The larger engine is paired with a 7-speed DCT, while the smaller engine comes with an 8-speed torque converter automatic, as well as a six-speed manual transmission option.
