Nissan India had recently announced the name of its upcoming MPV for the Indian market. Confirming that it will be called Gravite, the brand gave a glimpse of its design but refrained from fully revealing the vehicle. Now, the automaker has announced that the car, which rivals the Renault Triber, will be unveiled on January 21. Meanwhile, the prices of the model will be announced later in March.
The Japanese car manufacturer intends to start expanding its product range with the debut of Gravite in January. The other models from the brand will be introduced in close succession, with only a few months between their launches. Following the Gravite, the Tekton will be released, and a seven-seater SUV is set to arrive in 2027. It is worth noting that until now, Nissan has been represented in just one segment with the Magnite.

It features a novel front design that includes a new grille displaying the Nissan emblem, enhanced by chrome accents. The vehicle also boasts a new headlamp design, while a hood scoop-like feature on the bonnet contributes to a muscular appearance.
Information regarding the interior has yet to be revealed. However, there is a possibility that the MPV will feature entirely new interior elements utilizing various materials for the dashboard. It may share certain attributes with the Tiber. Additionally, the MPV is anticipated to offer a three-row seating configuration, enabling flexible arrangements of 5, 6, or 7 seats.

While Nissan is expected to optimize the engine and transmission for enhanced drivability, the fundamental mechanical layout will stay the same.
