Maruti Suzuki, the Indian automaker, has announced its EV charging infrastructure ahead of the e-Vitara launch. Maruti Suzuki is preparing something big for EV buyers, promising a smoother, more connected ownership journey. From charging convenience to digital tools and service support, the brand is shaping an ecosystem designed to make electric mobility effortless. 

Maruti Suzuki EV Roadmap

Maruti Suzuki has unveiled a significant plan to strengthen India's EV ecosystem, investing Rs 250 crore to support e Vitara buyers. The company is working toward building the country's largest charging infrastructure, with exclusive charging points already spread across numerous cities. By 2030, Maruti aims to make electric mobility more accessible and convenient through a vast, nationwide charging network.

To complement this infrastructure, Maruti is introducing its new 'e for me' app, designed to simplify EV ownership. The app will allow users to locate nearby charging stations, make digital payments, and schedule service appointments with ease. Alongside this, Maruti has already prepared 1,500 EV-ready service workshops across India, ensuring customers enjoy a seamless, well-supported experience as they transition to electric vehicles.

Maruti Suzuki e Vitara Battery Specs

The Maruti Suzuki e Vitara will be offered with two battery pack options: a 49 kWh and a 61 kWh unit. The smaller pack will power a single-motor setup driving the front wheels, while the larger pack will support a dual-motor configuration delivering all-wheel drive, branded by Suzuki as AllGrip-e. This flexibility allows customers to choose between efficiency and performance, with the larger battery variant expected to be the more premium option in the lineup.

Maruti Suzuki e Vitara Range

Maruti Suzuki's upcoming e Vitara promises an impressive ARAI-certified range of 543 km on a single charge, making long journeys far more practical. The electric SUV can comfortably cover the Delhi-Chandigarh-Delhi route on a single charge. To further ease range concerns, Maruti has also set up 63 charging points along this corridor, ensuring added convenience and confidence for EV users.

Maruti Suzuki e Vitara Bharat NCAP Result

The brand recently revealed the Bharat NCAP crash test results, stating that the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara has achieved a 5-star rating at the Bharat NCAP assessment. The e Vitara is built on Suzuki's all-new Heartect-e platform. It comes equipped with level-2 ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) and seven airbags.

Maruti Suzuki e Vitara also comes with level 2 ADAS features. The suite includes: Automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning (FCW), lane keep assist (LKA), lane departure prevention (LDP), lane departure warning (LDW), vehicle sway warning, adaptive cruise control, adaptive high-beam system, blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert.

Maruti Suzuki e Vitara Variants

While the brand has not revealed much data about the variants of the e Vitara. The recently conducted Bharat NCAP test document states that it will get three variants- Delta, Zeta, and Alpha.
