With a five-star rating, the Mahindra XEV 9e, managed to get a full 32 points for adult occupant protection during the crash tests. While it got 45 out of 49 points for the child occupant protection crash tests. Furthermore, the EV scored a full 16 points for AOP in the deformable barrier and side movable deformable barrier tests.

Mahindra BE 6

The Mahindra BE 6 also achieved a 5-star safety rating, Diving into the details, the electric SUV scored 31.97 out of 32 points for adult occupant crash safety rating. Meanwhile, the EV got 45 points out of 49 for child occupant crash tests.

Maruti Suzuki e Vitara

On test bed, Maruti Suzuki e Vitara achieved a 5-star rating at the Bharat NCAP assessment. The e Vitara is built on Suzuki's all-new Heartect-e platform. It comes equipped with level-2 ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) and seven airbags. The electric SUV scored 31.49 points out of 32 in adult occupant protection. In front offset and side movable deformable barrier test, e Vitara scored 15.49 points and 16 points out of 16, respectively. The e Vitara secured 43 points out of 49. The child occupant protection comprises three parameters: Dynamic score (24/24), CRS installation score (12/12) and vehicle assessment score (7/13).

Maruti Suzuki Victoris

The Maruti Suzuki Victoris secured 31.66 out of 32 points for adult occupant safety and 43.00 out of 49 points for child safety, in the Bharat NCAP crash test. In the frontal offset deformable barrier test, the SUV scored 15.66 points out of 16, while the side movable deformable barrier test resulted in a perfect 16 out of 16 points.

Tata Punch scored 5 stars in the Bharat NCAP crash test, securing 31.46 out of 32 points in adult occupant protection and 45 out of 49 points in child occupant protection.

Tata Punch EV scored 15.71 out of 16 points in the frontal offset deformable barrier test and 15.74 out of 16 points in the side movable deformable barrier test. Tata Punch EV comes equipped with six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, hill hold assist, tyre pressure monitoring system, speed alert system, and reverse parking camera as standard.
