Mahindra & Mahindra has secretly started working on the development of the facelift version of its popular SUV, Scorpio N. While there has been no official announcement on the subject, the test mule of the latest iteration of the vehicle has been spied testing on public roads. The camouflage-covered unit hints at a big upcoming change for the sales numbers of the brand because the model has brought good sales since its launch.
Based on the pictures, there are no design changes in the Scorpio N facelift to showcase the rear quarter view of this forthcoming SUV. It's difficult to detect any design changes in these photos due to the camouflage covering possible updates. The overall shape seems unchanged, and we can even identify the familiar Scorpion tail in the window line.

Most anticipated changes are expected to be in the front end, which is not captured in these spy images. Expected revisions include a new grille, sportier bumpers, updated headlights, and a revamped LED daytime running light signature, along with a more pronounced bumper.
Along with this, there is a possibility of interior upgrades for the Mahindra Scorpio N. Mahindra might give it a larger touchscreen infotainment system and a fully digital TFT instrument cluster. A panoramic sunroof may be part of this update. Furthermore, Mahindra could shift from Sony to Harman Kardon for its audio system, a change we've noted with the XUV700 facelift.
With the Scorpio N facelift, it's also expected that more variants will include the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite, which is currently confined to the premium Z8L trim level.
Powertrain choices are likely to remain unchanged, presumably keeping the same tuning. This includes a 2.0L turbo petrol engine generating 200 bhp and 370 Nm, as well as a 2.2L turbo diesel engine producing 172 bhp and 370 Nm. Both manual and automatic transmission options, along with 4WD configurations, will probably be offered as well.
