Mahindra has launched a new special edition version of the BE 6 in India, called the Mahindra BE 6 Formula E Edition. Mahindra's motorsport journey has evolved from rally dominance to becoming the nation's lone winner on the global Formula E stage. The new BE 6 Formula E Edition channels that legacy, bringing championship-inspired precision, aerodynamics, and racing design to Indian roads.
The Mahindra BE 6 Formula E Edition makes a striking impression with its all-new signature front bumper featuring circular projector headlamps, gloss black bezels, and bold Firestorm Orange accents. Aerodynamic flair comes through sporty rear boot lip and roof spoilers, while "Mahindra Formula E" ceramic branding on the windshield, FIA logos, and uniquely placed Formula E decals across the panels, roof, and carpet lamps reinforce its motorsport DNA. The fixed glass roof and bonnet wear distinctive 12-stripe graphics, joined by BE 6 Formula E rear badging, liquid-metal finished cladding and skid plates, and aggressive race-style graphics on the doors, fenders, and bonnet, creating a road-ready machine that mirrors the adrenaline of the racing grid.

The BE 6 Formula E Edition's cabin is adorned with Firestorm Orange shade, featuring an FIA X Formula E plaque, logo-embossed dashboard and seats, and FIA-branded seat belts. Orange accents highlight the steering wheel, controls, and straps, while translucent door inserts, dynamic speakers, wireless charging, race-style start/stop flap, custom startup animation, and exterior engine sounds complete its motorsport-inspired interior.
Mahindra BE 6 Formula E Interior
The Mahindra BE 6 Formula E Edition is equipped with safety features like a 360-degree camera, blind spot monitor, and six airbags, all housed within a high-stiffness bodyshell. Braking is handled by all-wheel disc brakes with advanced brake-by-wire technology and an intelligent electronic brake booster. Driver assistance is elevated with drowsiness detection, electronic parking brake, and front and rear parking sensors. A tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) with individual tyre display ensures optimal grip and safety, rounding off a package built for secure, high-performance driving.
The BE 6 Formula E Edition is powered by a high-performance electric motor delivering 282 bhp (210 kW), enabling a swift 0-100 km/h sprint in just 6.7 seconds and a top speed of 202 km/h. It draws energy from a robust 79 kWh battery, offering an impressive 500 km real-world range, blending race-grade acceleration with long-distance practicality.
It has two variants on offer, the Mahindra BE 6 Formula E FE2 priced at Rs 23.69 lakh (ex-showroom) and the FE3 tagged at Rs 24.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
