KTM has announced a global recall affecting its 2024 lineup, including the 125 Duke, 250 Duke, 390 Duke, and 990 Duke. The company stated that certain fuel tank cap seals may not meet its quality standards, prompting precautionary action. Owners of these models will be contacted to ensure the issue is rectified at authorized service centers.

KTM has revealed that quality checks on its 2024 Duke range, including the 125, 250, 390, and 990, showed that some fuel tank cap seals may not meet standards. These seals could develop small cracks, potentially causing fuel leakage. As a precaution, KTM will directly inform owners to schedule visits at authorized service centers, where replacements will be carried out free of cost.

Although the KTM Duke 125 is no longer available in India, the entry-level model continues to be sold in several international markets. The current recall campaign is limited to 2024 model year versions of the 125 Duke, 250 Duke, 390 Duke, and 990 Duke. Importantly, the 990 Duke was never launched in India, so domestic buyers are unaffected by that variant.

Indian customers owning the 250 Duke or 390 Duke are advised to contact their nearest authorized KTM service center for guidance and support regarding the recall. Service teams will confirm whether their motorcycle is affected and arrange the necessary checks. Also, riders can visit the 'Service' section on KTM's official website, where they can enter their bike's VIN and delivery certificate number to verify inclusion in the recall campaign.
