Kia Vision Meta Turismo Concept Revealed: Check Pics

Kia has introduced the Vision Meta Turismo concept, reflecting its future-focused design approach. The model combines performance with digital features and a lounge-like cabin experience. Inspired by the elegance and touring spirit of the 1960s, the Vision Meta Turismo offers a modern interpretation aimed at showcasing how the brand envisions mobility for the next generation.

The Vision Meta Turismo Concept employs Kia's 'Opposites United' design philosophy, blending sharp angles with flowing, purposeful lines. Its silhouette is defined by a long, bubble-like roofline that begins at the expansive front windscreen and extends gracefully past the area where the B-pillar would normally sit. This elongated form continues seamlessly into the rear haunches, creating a distinctive profile that balances futuristic styling with a sense of fluidity and proportion.

The Kia Vision Meta Turismo concept showcases a front bumper with active air flaps and multiple vents positioned ahead of and beneath the main windscreen. At the rear, angular LED taillights are paired with sharp creases extending down to the bumper. Two unique LED strips sit near the roof's trailing edge and above the diffuser. This four-door prototype also features sculpted side skirts and large wheels, finished with black hubcaps and bold KIA lettering, adding to its futuristic stance.

It features an expansive glasshouse with front and rear quarter lights, complemented by a roof made up of multiple panes. Its golden paint scheme adds a striking presence, while the front design incorporates two pairs of slim LED lights, one positioned in the lower apron and a larger set on the bonnet. The bonnet-mounted units also house cameras, replacing traditional ORVMs, further emphasizing the futuristic approach to design and technology showcased in this concept.

On the inside, the Kia Vision Meta Turismo is defined by its expansive glasshouse, which allows natural light to flood the cabin and enhances the sense of space. The two-tone layout distinguishes the front and rear seating, with unique designs tailored for each. The driver's seat stands out with a sporty appearance, featuring a control-yoke-style steering setup that extends from the dashboard. Positioned above it is a compact digital display, adding a futuristic touch to the driver-focused environment.

Kia has equipped the Vision Meta Turismo's driver's seat with advanced controls inspired by aviation. A fighter-jet-style sidestick is integrated into the right armrest, while paddle shifters are mounted behind the control yoke, likely intended to manage regenerative braking. Ahead of the driver, at the base of the windscreen, key information such as speed, range, energy use, and drive modes is projected. The augmented-reality head-up display adapts based on three selectable modes-Speedster, Dreamer, and Gamer. Each mode changes the way data is presented, offering distinct animations and immersive visuals to enhance the overall driving experience.

Kia's Vision Meta Turismo Concept, shown at its 80th anniversary, hints at a four-door grand tourer. While links to the next-gen Stinger remain unconfirmed, its successor may evolve into a coupe-SUV.
