Rohit Sharma, the Indian cricketer, has bought his second Lamborghini Urus. While the new sports SUV comes from the same family, it is an upgraded version of the vehicle with the 'SE' suffix. At the time of launch, it had a starting price of Rs 4.57 crore (ex-showroom) and came with a hybrid powertrain. The update comes after Rohit Sharma announced that he'd give away his old Urus to the winner of the Dream11 fantasy cricket contest.
The update was confirmed by a video shared on social media showing the Lamborghini Mumbai dealership delivering the vehicle to Rohit Sharma. Based on the video, it has a different appearance with orange paint (called Arancio Argos) when compared to his older blue Urus. However, there are no pictures of the cricketer taking the delivery of his new performance-oriented SUV.

In terms of design, the Urus SE is completely different from its predecessor, with a new design for the LED matrix technology; the LED signature is a departure from the signature Y-motif. The other significant changes to the front include the bumper and a larger and more aggressive grille assembly. It seems to be equipped with 23-inch wheels.
Rohit Sharma's Lamborghini Urus SE is powered by a 4.0-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 engine that now delivers 620hp and 800Nm on its own. The engine has been extensively redesigned to work with a plug-in hybrid system that features a 25.9kWh lithium-ion battery pack. This electric motor is integrated into the 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission, resulting in a combined system output of 800hp and 950Nm.
The Urus SE offers an electric-only range of 60km and can operate in EV mode at speeds reaching up to 130kph before the combustion engine engages automatically. Even while in electric mode, the Urus SE maintains four-wheel drive, and Lamborghini claims it can accelerate from 0-100kph in 3.4 seconds, with a maximum speed of 312kph.
