The 2025 Japan Mobility is in full swing, with major auto manufacturers showcasing the future of mobility at the global stage. Joining the queue is Honda. The Japanese two-wheeler maker has unveiled the Outlier concept, offering a glimpse into what the future lineup may look like. Alongside the Honda Super-One Prototype and the 0 Alpha concept, the Oulier looks straight out of a sci-fi movie.
The EV Outlier Concept builds on the EV FUN Concept and EV Urban Concept unveiled at the 2024 EICMA, proposing a model that looks ahead to the future of electric mobility. In an interaction, Yuya Tsutsum stated, "Like the EV FUN Concept and EV Urban Concept unveiled at EICMA 2024, it is founded on Honda's shared design theme for electric motorcycles: 'Precision of Intrinsic Design'. Honda aims for an intrinsic design through refining functionality in electric motorcycles."

The Honda Outlier concept is equipped with two electric motors integrated on the front and rear wheels. This setup also allows an all-wheel drive action, with the users getting an option to adjust the torque distribution on the front and rear wheels. Along with the futuristic design approach, Honda has tried to keep the Outlier quite basic and seems to carry the double wishbone swing arm from the Goldwing, also it gets the traditional disc brakes on the front and rear. The suspension unit consists of a telescopic fork up front and a rear monoshock.
