Tata Motors has already announced its plan to launch several new models in the Indian market. To kick off 2026 and implement its strategy to expand the product lineup, the automaker will introduce the Punch facelift on January 13. This will be the first significant update for the model since the trim levels were adjusted in September 2024. So far, the test mule of the vehicle has been spotted multiple times, revealing some details about the upcoming model.
Before diving into details, it's important to note that the Tata Punch was first launched in 2021 and has secured a significant place in the automaker's lineup due to its impressive sales figures. With the upcoming facelift, the vehicle is expected to undergo several changes aimed at enhancing its appeal to consumers, ultimately helping the brand boost its sales even further. These changes will likely be seen in the design, interior, and feature list of the car.

Tata Punch Facelift: Design
Based on the spy shots revealed earlier, the Tata Punch facelift is likely to get a new front grille along with an air dam placed at the lower end. The fascia will likely get a refreshed appeal because of a new design for the headlights, similar to the one seen on Punch EV. This will be paired with a DRL borrowed from the electric counterpart. However, the vehicle seems to be missing the connected lights.
While the rest of the silhouette of the car remains the same, the design of the alloy wheels has been updated. Furthermore, the Punch facelift is expected to gain new paint scheme options with contrasting black roof. All of this will be complemented by the presence of a revised rear bumper with skid plates.
