BYD is making a strong impact in the Indian automotive industry. The automaker has rolled-off its 15 millionth NEV off the production line at the Jinan Factory in China, and it is the BYD Denza N8L SUV, a full-size, six-seat premium SUV renowned for its outstanding safety performance.
Sales performance remained robust for BYD in 2025. From January to November, BYD achieved cumulative sales of 4.182 million units, representing an 11.3% year-on-year growth. Overseas markets emerged as a key growth driver: overseas sales surged to 917,000 units, already exceeding the total overseas sales volume of 2024. Currently, BYD's NEV products are available in over 119 countries and regions across six continents.

Technological innovation remains the cornerstone of BYD's development. In the first three quarters of 2025, the company's R&D expenditure reached 43.75 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 31%. Cumulative R&D investment has now surpassed 220 billion yuan, underscoring its long-term commitment to technological leadership.
Guided by its core values of "Elegance, Innovation, Technology," Denza has successfully entered multiple Asian markets, including Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia. The Denza D9 has emerged as the best-selling luxury MPV in multiple markets, including Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia, in the first half of the year.
The brand has further expanded its footprint to key regions in Europe and Latin America, playing a pivotal role in accelerating the electrification transformation of the global luxury automotive market.
