BMW Motorrad has been planning to reveal the production specs version of the much-awaited BMW F 450 GS. The concept version was previously showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 and is now set to break cover at the EICMA 2025. However, just days before the official unveiling, the BMW Motorrad CEO, Markus Flasch, revealed the bike in its full production avatar.

The upcoming BMW F 450 GS will feature a newly developed 450cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine, delivering an estimated peak output of 48 hp. This powertrain has been co-developed with TVS under their ongoing partnership. In addition to a manual gearbox, reports suggest the bike may also offer a semi-automatic transmission option for smoother gear shifts.

The production-spec model retains several design cues from the original concept, including a sculpted fuel tank, sharply defined side fairings, and a pointed front end with a prominent beak-like extension. Its headlamp setup, likely inspired by the R 1300 GS, features distinctive X-shaped daytime running lights. At the rear, a sleek tail lamp completes the bike's bold and aggressive styling.

The BMW F 450 GS rolls on a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel setup with wire-spoke tubeless rims, supported by a new chassis featuring an upside-down front fork and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock. Expected features include all-LED lighting, multiple ride modes, cornering ABS, traction control, and a 6.5-inch TFT display. More details are anticipated at the EICMA 2025 show, where the production model will be officially unveiled.
