The Volkswagen Taigun has been revealed in India, and the brand has kept the price under wraps. While the pricing details for the Taigun facelift are awaited, we now know what features and specs the updated SUV offers. In the domestic market, the Volkswagen Taigun rivals models like the Hyundai Creta. If you are looking at any of these, there are a few reasons why you would like the Taigun facelift over the best-selling SUV- Hyundai Creta.
Powertrain
The Volkswagen Taigun facelift gets a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine. Meanwhile, the Creta gets only a single turbo-petrol option (1.5-liter). This makes the Taigun suitable for driving enthusiasts who like a peppy and powerful engine. Also, the Volkswagen Taigun's automatic transmission has been updated with an 8-speed gearbox, ditching the previous 6-speed unit for a more refined and smoother gear shift.
