
Tata recently launched its most anticipated hatchback, that is the 2025 Altroz facelift, in India. The 2025 Altroz does retain the silhouette but hosts a bunch of new exterior elements and an upgraded feature list in the catalog. Now, the Indian car major has released the crash test video of the new Altroz.
Back in 2020, the older interaction of the Altroz registered itself as the safest hatchback in the country, scoring a 5-star rating from the Global NCAP test bed. Now, with the 2025 Altroz, Tata is expected to receive a new member in the 5-star safety family.

Tata has released the crash test video of the 2025 Tata Altroz facelift. While the video posted on the brand's YouTube channel doesn't reveal all the details, it does suggest that the new Altroz is set to carry forward the safety rating standards. The video shows the 2025 Altroz going through the front offset deformable barrier test at a claimed speed of 64 km/h. The results show that it is quite effective in absorbing the impact and has stable underbody and A-pillars. The test video also suggests that the 6-airbags deploy on time.

The Tata hatchback also went through a side mobile barrier crash test, conducted at a speed of 50 km/h, performing pretty well. The Altroz had a lesser impact on the dummies, as most of the impact was absorbed by the crumple zone.
The full details of the crash test have not been revealed yet, but it is expected to be released soon. The 2025 Tata Altroz facelift is backed by safety features like 6 airbags, ESP, SOS Calling Function, Hill Hold Assist, Rear Defogger, a 360-degree camera, and more.

2025 Altroz side mobile barrier test
Tata Altroz facelift gets a 1.2-litre petrol engine with the options of a 1.5-litre diesel and 1.2-litre CNG powertrain with twin-cylinder tech. The transmission options include 5-speed MT, 6-speed DCA, and a newly added 5-speed AMT. It is available at a starting price of Rs 6.89 lakh (ex-showroom).
