Ajit Kumar Jha is Editor Research for NDTV. Ajit specialises in elections, politics, strategy, and political economy. Ajit joined Trinity College, Oxford University to study Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) and completed an M Litt on the Indian Emergency. While studying for a doctorate at UCLA in Political Economy, Ajit became a California Correspondent for India Today from Los Angeles. Ajit worked as a senior editor for The Times of India, The Indian Express and Hindustan Times. Ajit was the founding editor of the Tribune in the Middle East, in Doha (Qatar Tribune) and Muscat. Later, he joined as Editor Research for India Today, Outlook and the CEO and Editorial Director of BlitzIndia. Ajit has been a regular TV commentator for India Today, Aaj Tak, Al Jazeera, BBC, CNN, News 9, TV9 and NDTV. He is also a commentator for some social media channels.
