On Wednesday, ace tennis player and winner of 23 Grand Slam titles Serena Williams hinted at her pregnancy on Snapchat. In a story that she deleted later, Serena can be seen standing in front of a mirror in a yellow swimsuit, while the caption reads '20 weeks.' Even though the image was deleted later, wishes have been pouring in for Serena from all quarters. She had announced in late December that she was engaged to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian.
According to
ESPN, in an email on Wednesday, a spokeswoman for Serena Williams confirmed that she is indeed expecting.
However, Twitter was very quick to realize one thing. The 35-year-old won her 23rd Grand Slam at the Australian Open in January. This means that Serena was roughly 8 weeks pregnant at the time she won the trophy!
