Barabanki:
Union minister for Steel Beni Prasad Verma and his son Rakesh Verma have been reportedly booked for attempt to murder. The complaint was filed by Shiv Shankar Shukla in the Sadar Police Station of the Barabanki district in Uttar Pradesh.
Mr Shukla was recently thrown out of a press conference in which the minister and his son Rakesh Verma were present. He claims he was assaulted by Mr Beni's supporters and they threatened to kill him.
Both Mr Beni and his son have been booked for assault and attempt to murder.
