Nagpur:
At least four people were critically injured in a major fire that broke out following a blast at an explosives factory near Nagpur in Maharashtra, police said here on Thursday.
"The fire broke out following a chemical blast in Dhaga village premises of AMA Industries that manufactures explosives," an official from Kalmeshwar police station said.
According to an eyewitness, the entire factory building has collapsed due to the blast that took place at one of the chemical tankers lodged at the factory.
Police, however, said they were looking into the exact cause of the fire and awaiting more details.
