How This Incredible 11-Year-Old Saved the Lives of Several Others Before He Died
Never underestimate the power of a good deed. Especially when the deed is such a powerful one as that of this 11-year-old Chinese boy. Deeds like this need to be written about, to be talked about, but most of all, deeds such as these need to become a lesson for all.

Liang Yaoyi, from Shenzhen, China, a long suffering cancer patient who succumbed to brain tumour, did something so heartening and thoughtful that it made his doctors bow down to him. The picture has since gone viral, catching the imagination of people across the globe for its powerful  implication. "There are many people doing great things in the world. They are great, and I want to be a great kid too!" (quote from chinadaily.com.cn) Looks like he got his wish. He truly proved that was a great kid!

Before he died, Liang had requested his mother to donate his organs after his death; a wish that she complied with.

Red Cross hands Liang's mother a donation certificate.

His school teachers were quoted as saying that Liang perhaps learned about organ donation after reading a story in his textbook. It may seem like a simple act, but not many understand the importance, and the need, for organ donation.

His dreams of growing up may have been cut short, but Liang will stay alive in the lives of those he's helped. All it takes is the will to make a difference, because of a boy of just 11 can, everyone can. Here's saluting the spirit of a true hero.
