Pilibhit:
Things could get worse for Varun Gandhi as the Pilibhit police is likely to file a chargesheet against the first time BJP MP on Monday, for spreading communal hatred through hate speeches during the recent election campaign.
Varun Gandhi is accused of making hate speeches on March 7 and 8 in two separate areas of Pilibhit, the constituency he won the elections from.
The case against Varun includes the forensic report, which confirmed that the three electronic samples given to them for examination did have Varun's voice. Based on this report the Uttar Pradesh government gave formal sanction to the Pilibhit police to file a chargesheet on July 3.
The onus is now on Varun to prove himself innocent.
