New Delhi: There's bad news for some companies that got 2G licences during A Raja's tenure as the Telecom Minister.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued notice to nine 2G licence holders - including Unitech, Loop, Swan - for foreign exchange violations. Companies like Unitech partnered with foreign firms after getting their licenses.

PTI adds:

Official sources said summons have been issued to some new telecom firms asking for certain financial records and documents. The CBI is already investigating the 2G scam and had told the Supreme Court on Monday that it will complete investigation and file a chargesheet within three months.
