Kanpur:
A couple in Kanpur allegedly committed suicide as the girl's family disapproved of their relationship, the police have said.
Kunti, 18, and Bipin, 25, were reportedly in a relationship for quite some time. Yesterday, Kunti had a fight with her father over her relationship with Bipin following which she hanged herself from the ceiling of her house.
Within half-an-hour, Bipin too committed suicide by jumping in front of a goods train, the police said.
Both bodies have been sent for post-mortem and a further probe into the matter is on.
