Narendra Modi to address rally in poll-bound Rajasthan today

Udaipur: Narendra Modi will address a rally in poll-bound Rajasthan's Udaipur district today.

Through his Janjaati Morcha Sammelan, the Bharatiya Janata Party prime ministerial candidate is hoping to woo the tribals who constitute a significant part of the voters in the region.

The BJP state president Vasundhara Raje is also expected to attend.

Rajasthan, currently governed by a Congress government under Ashok Gehlot, votes for a new assembly on December 1; votes will be counted on December 8.

Yesterday, the Gujarat Chief Minister was in Jhansi, where he asked his voters to give the BJP just 60 months as opposed to what he called has been a disastrous 60 years of Congress rule in India.

Tomorrow, the 63-year-old leader will be address another rally in Patna, his first ever in Bihar, governed by his bete noire Nitish Kumar, who ended a 17-year coalition with the BJP after Mr Modi was given charge of his party's national campaign in June.
