Congo: Hundreds die in oil tanker explosion

Congo: Rescue workers in eastern Congo began burying the bodies of at least 231 people on Saturday, after they were killed when a fuel tanker overturned, gushing oil and exploding in a massive fireball.

The truck overturned as it was trying to pass a minibus late on Friday night near the village of Sange, around 30 kilometres north of Uvira, a town on the northern tip of Lake Tanganyika near the Burundi border.
