Do not disturb Shaan. The singer is on a trip to Russia with his wife, Radhika Mukherji. To keep his fans in the loop, the star posted a bunch of snaps from the vacation on Instagram. In the opening frame, Shaan and Radhika were seen posing in the streets with a river in the background. Up next, the lovebirds were joined by some friends as they stood in front of the Church of the Saviour on Spilled Blood in St. Petersburg. Their Russian trip also included a stop at Peterhof Palace. Do not miss the garden complex and that beautiful fountain in the background.

We also got a glimpse of the stunning interiors of Komsomolskaya Station, one of Moscow's metro stations. The image of Saint Basil's Cathedral glowing in the sun totally had our attention. Shaan also posted a photo of the statue of Peter the Great, the first Emperor of all Russia. Another snap showed the couple posing with the famous Tsar Pushka cannon in the background. The last image featured Shaan, Radhika and their friends having a fun time in Russia. In his caption, Shaan simply wrote, "Russia diaries," and dropped a red heart.

Like Shaan, if you are also planning a trip to Russia, here are 5 places you must add to your itinerary:

1. St. Basil's Cathedral (Moscow)

You can not go to Moscow and miss this one. It is the super colourful church right on Red Square with onion-shaped domes. Built in the 1500s, it still looks like a cartoon set (honestly). The inside is more like a maze of tiny chapels than one big hall. Great for photos, but even better when you walk through it.

2. Hermitage Museum (St. Petersburg)

This museum is housed inside the Winter Palace, which used to be the home of Russian emperors. The rooms themselves are just as interesting as the art. You will see works by da Vinci, Rembrandt and even some ancient Egyptian stuff. PS: Wear comfy shoes, you will be here for hours.

3. Church of the Saviour on Spilled Blood (St. Petersburg)

One of the most stunning buildings in Russia, hands down. It was built on the spot where Emperor Alexander II was assassinated, which is where the "spilled blood" part comes from. Outside, it is full of colourful domes and crazy detail. Inside, it is covered floor to ceiling in mosaics. No filters needed for photos here.

4. Lenin's Mausoleum (Moscow)

A little eerie, but very iconic. You will find Lenin's embalmed body inside a dark, quiet tomb right on Red Square. The line moves fast, and the guards are serious - no phones, no bags, no talking. It is a quick stop, but super memorable.

5. Catherine Palace (Pushkin)

About an hour from St. Petersburg, this place is all about royal Russian luxury. The blue-and-white facade is huge and photogenic, and the inside is just as grand. The big highlight? The Amber Room - a chamber decorated entirely in amber panels and gold. The gardens outside are also great for a walk or chill break.
