With ongoing tensions in the Middle East, many travellers are wondering whether flights from India to Dubai are still operating - and whether it is safe to visit right now. While fewer people may be flying from Delhi to Dubai compared to the flow in the opposite direction, flights are still operating, and fares remain quite low. As leisure travel to the UAE declines amid the conflict, some passengers continue to fly for essential reasons, such as critical work, urgent medical care or family emergencies.
Currently, for March 11-15, one-way tickets from Delhi to Dubai start from Rs 14,500.
Are Flights From India To Dubai Operating?
Commercial flights between India and Dubai are currently operating, but are subject to the larger conflict scenario in the Middle East. Major airlines, including Air India, Air India Express, IndiGo, Emirates and SpiceJet, continue to run direct services on the Delhi-Dubai-Delhi route.
However, normal flight operations do not automatically reflect the security situation for travellers. All airlines have been sending out advisories to inform passengers whether their flights are affected by the current conflict.

Is It Safe To Go To Dubai Now?
At present, major government bodies advise against all but essential travel to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), including Dubai, due to the ongoing conflict and an unpredictable security environment.
Such advisories do not amount to a complete ban, but they do indicate that tourists should reconsider or delay non-essential trips.
Essential travel usually refers to necessary work, legal obligations, medical needs or urgent family reasons - not holidays or leisure travel.
Travellers should also be aware that going against these official advisories may affect travel insurance. Most insurers use government-issued "do not travel" or "avoid non-essential travel" warnings as the basis for approving or denying claims. If you travel despite these warnings, insurance coverage may not apply.
Anyone planning a trip needs to monitor the latest guidance issued by their respective government before departure.

Latest Update From Dubai Airport Amid Iran Missile Threat
Air-raid sirens briefly sounded at Dubai Airport on Tuesday morning, prompting passengers and staff to move towards bomb shelters after UAE air defences detected incoming missiles and drones launched by Iran. A video recorded by a traveller showed crowds heading to the shelters, along with rows of empty check-in counters, indicating that airline staff had also been evacuated. Flight-tracking data showed several arriving aircraft placed in holding patterns near Fujairah and Al-Ain during the alert. Airport operations resumed roughly 30 minutes later.
