Fifty per cent occupancy, staggered show timings in multiplexes, social distancing, thermal screening and frequent sanitization are among the guidelines issued for operation of cinema halls, theatres and multiplexes from October 15. They were recently allowed to resume operations under the Unlock 5 guidelines.

Schools and colleges will be allowed to reopen from October 15, the Centre said today, announcing the next phase of lifting of coronavirus-related restrictions.
