Pakistan's jailed former prime minister Imran Khan's party on Saturday alleged that his nephew Hassan Niazi has been "abducted" from military custody and shifted to an undisclosed location to put pressure on him.

Mr Niazi will be investigated and tried by the military following his nomination as the prime suspect in the case related to the Jinnah House attack in Lahore, the police report said.

Pakistan police arrested Imran Khan's nephew and a number of his supporters on Monday for their alleged involvement in the attacks on the security personnel outside a court in Islamabadover the weekend.
