The State Council of Educational Research and Training, Chhattisgarh, has declared the result of National Means Cum Merit Scholarship, or NMMSS. A total of 662 students qualified from all the districts of Chhatisgarh for the 2019-2020 session.

Cabinet Junks No-Detention Policy, Class 5 And 8 Students Can Fail Again

The Union Cabinet has approved the scrapping of the no-detention policy in schools till Class 8. An enabling provision will be made in the Right of Children for Free and Compulsory Education Amendment Bill which will allow states to detain students in class 5 and class 8 if they fail in the year-end exam.
